CONGRUITIES AND INCONGRUITIES BETWEEN THE BIBLE AND THE QUR'AN

SUMMARY Salvation according to the Old Testament and the Psalms requires the obedience to the Ten Commandments and by the grace of God. This is clearly indicated in Synoptic Gospels. There is another teaching according to which only the chosen will enter the Garden and man's doings will bring no change in his condition. A third teaching is that belief in Christ is sufficient for salvation. In the Qur'an the salvation is attained by obedience to God's injunctions and His grace. The eternal life has its own ranks, namely, satisfactory, good and excellent stages. THE NEXT WORLD
