CONGRUITIES AND INCONGRUITIES BETWEEN THE BIBLE AND THE QUR'AN

SUMMARY According to the Old Testament there is only one God. In the Psalms likewise God is One. In the Synoptic Gospels there is no reference to Trinity. In the letters of Paul and in the Gospel of St. John, although Christ is explicitly declared to be God, there is no reference to Trinity. It was in 382, during the session of the Council of Constantinople that Trinity had been adopted as a concept. The Qur'an categorically rejected the concept of Trinity and stresses that there is no god but God and that he is the Lord of all that exist. HAS JESUS RESURRECTED?
