TRINITY IN THE OLD TESTAMENT
« I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.Thou shalt have no other gods before me. »(Exodus 20/2, 3) « Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD» (Deuteronomy 6/4) The concept of One God is given emphasis in more than place in the Old Testament: « See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. »(Deuteronomy 32/39) TRINITY IN THE PSALMS |
